ಈಗ, ಇರಾ ಕಥೆಗಳ ತುಂಬಾ ಭಾವನೆಗಳು ತುಂಬತೊಡಗಿವೆ. ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೂ ಒಬ್ಬಳಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕಾದರೆ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನತನವನ್ನು (uniqueness) ತೋರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು.  ಇಗೋ ಇಲ್ಲಿವೆ , ಅವಳ ಇನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಥೆಗಳು . 

The Magical Man

There was a man who had a magic of making everybody happy if they touched him. One day when he was going he saw a sad forest where the trees were weeping sad, butterflies couldn’t flutter their wings, flowers couldn’t bloom with fragrance, light couldn’t touch the ground shining,  Birds did not have songs. He deiced them to make the forest happy and he touched the earth, then there was magic in the air. Trees became greener and rustling with smiles. Butterflies colored the forest fluttering. There was a tranquilizing fragrance by the beautiful blooming flowers with the background of music from the birds. 

They loved him so much and so did he. So he decided to stay there but he was getting old and the forest wanted to remain happy. So they all took him to a stream of youth. They asked him to drink the water to remain young. As he started drinking he stated becoming younger and younger but he realized he would soon end his life again by becoming a baby and then by not being born ! So the forest decided that he should become a tree to become eternal and stay in that forest.  He liked the idea and so he became one of them and permanently stayed in the forest. Everybody who gave the tree love in return got happiness and the forest lived happily ever after.

 

The Gold Fish

 There was big sea filled with all dangerous sharks and bad sea animals. But there was a very nice fish also with a large heart filled with love. One day God was surprised why this fish remains to stay so nice and good when there were so many bad fish around it. So God appeared and asked the fish if it needs any help is changing itself to be like others.  Fish said, “Yes, I need help, I need to change myself. Please make me a beautiful Golden Fish. I should be spotted by everybody and I should shine in the darkness of the sea”. God smiled and granted the wish. So the nice fish turned into a golden bright and beaming fish. Whenever anybody spot ted a school of dark sharks, they would also see a golden light just shining and fading deep down, giving its sparkle of goodness.

Meenu in the rainbow land

ಇರಾಗೆ ಈಗ ೭ ವರ್ಷ. ಅವಳು ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಮಾಯಾ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಾಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಹೀಗೊಂದು ದಿನ, ಆ ಮಾಯಾಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯ್ತು ಅಂತ ಅವಳು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕತೆ.

There was a dog and its name was Meenu. Meenu suddenly saw itself in a different land which it had never seen. The leaves were rainbow colored and there was this beautiful falls where rainbow colors were raising high and may be the leaves caught these. Meenu was very excited to see these and Meenu spotted a mermaid there and she was singing with soft and dreamy voice. Meenu was enjoying this for a while and when it was looking around spotted a round spot light almost disappearing. Meenu wandered what it was, but although it resembled a portal to go somewhere else.

Meenu decided to go out from that place and find out where is its owner. He wandered for a while and then saw the house, but everybody in it was behaving strangely. The owner was so active and doing the entire job and feeding extra tidbits to Meenu without any hesitation! The actual owner was lazy and wouldn’t leave the couch even when Meenu pulled him and jumped on him, and he never understood that Meenu also would like to munch on the junk as much has he loves to. Meenu thought, there is something misplaced here. Suddenly he felt he liked the original owner with all his problems, somehow there was comforts in being with unorganized owner.

Meenu decided to explore this weird wide world. When he went out he saw a tree which was unfamiliar to him and there was a person sitting under the tree and he was handling some puppets. Meenu asked him, how come he had never seen him before. He said, “I created you and everybody else also, its like a puppet show or a play ”. Meenu said, he doesn’t like this play, he liked the previous play where he had his original owner ! The man under the tree said, “oh! you chose this play, remember many times you wished that your owner is little less lazy and you wished to eat more junk ? Here you go, you chose that, if you want to go back you can choose that just as well “. Somehow Meenu did not like that man who gives options.

Meenu decided to go back to that place where he had seen mermaid. When he went there, he asked her is there any way that he can hop and jump to different plays. She said, “Every afternoon there is a portal which opens up here and you choose where you want to go using that “. Meenu waited for the portal to show up and it wished that “I do not want to go anywhere other than my lazy owner” and jumped into it. When he realized again, he was just waking up next to the lazy owner who was sleeping on a hammock in the sunshine. Meenu felt that it’s the best thing to do rather than being busy for no reason. Meenu wondered, if it was a dream or did he definitely switched different plays.
